I have seen many eagles in the wild. When I lived in the middle of my country (US) we would drive over this one bridge and in the water stood many very tall trees and the branches would be full of bald eagles. I did not take any pictures of the eagles that we often saw on the rout to town. At one time the bald eagleas on the endangerd species list because of the use of pestasides that they ingested from the fish that they ate. They were also targed by hunters wanting their feathers. They have come off the endangered species list this year but they are still protected. there can be on development in their nesting area. This has made some land develo[ers a bit angery and they are going to fight this law.

Yes! I have seen one once or twice while I was on the mainland. There are no eagles in Hawaii.
