19 years tomorrow

It's my anniversary 19 years already my how time flies. We will not be doing to much with Derrick's job closing and his new job he just got over his probationary period so right now we are skint. My mother is making us a real nice meal so I don't have to cook so that should be nice. Now next year is the big one for us, at Xmas last year he gave me a beautiful ring and asked me to marry him again. So on our 20th we are renewing our vows and having the honeymoon we never had. We have been saving since Jan and still have a year to save the rest we should be able to do it. Only problem is agreeing on where to go, we both want to do a cruise but he wants and Alaskan cruise I would like something a little more tropical. Has anyone here been on a cruise if so where and would you recommend it???

19 years are too long for a marriage, you are lucky.
Are you a love marriage or arrange marriage? In my country, most of couples live over 19 years together are arrange marriages. At first, I think they are pity, becasue they can't have a chance to find their own lovers by themselves, but now i don't think so. And I find that some of love marriage can't last for even 3 years. it is strange for me and now i'm 27 years old, and I have a boyfriend. we love each other very much, but i'm afraid of marriage. some people often say that relationship between my bf and I will get worse and worse if I get married.

Myself i don't believe in arranged marriages that's just me though, I was not raised that way. I met my husband almost 21 years ago and fell in love and we are still together today. It has not always been easy or great but the good has out weighed the bad.

Happy Anniversary! I hope you both enjoy the day.Good luck booking your trip. I haven't been on a cruise but there's has to be a compromise out there.
