Anyone use Byetta?

I have just started using Byetta to control my diabetes. I am amazed at the results!! I am losing weight, and my sugar is coming down. Like from the upper 200's to the mid 100's!! The only side effect so far is feeling queasy ... kinda like morning sickness!! But I'm sure that is part of the reason I am loosing weight! My concern is long-term effects .. this is a new drug, not been out there very long. However, I figure that if I don't get my sugars down, I won't be "out there" very long either!

The doctor prescribed Byetta for me but the insurance company refused to authorize it for me. So, no Byetta for me though the doctor really wanted it to help bring my sugars down and to help me lose weight.
