Potty training my daughter...

I am having a time trying to get her to use the potty all the time. She was doing good for a few days. She was peeing and pooing on the potty. Now she doesn't even want to hardly sit on it. I have tried letting her run around with no diaper on and all she did was mess on the floor. I think she is somewhat ready. She knows what it is to do #1 and #2. She is 2 and half now and I think it is time for her to learn to use the potty. Any advice would be very helpful! Thanx in advanced!!!

The novelty has worn off. She probably needs a different reward than praise now. Try a few smarties, or her favourite small treat, like a few raisins or cereal pieces every time she uses the potty. She will go back to using it, almost guaranteed. There WILL be days that she just simply refuses to use the potty, though so don't be discouraged. (By the way, we tell the little kids that fruit loops and other highly sugared cereals are candy, so they worked as well.)
