So...pretty much...Conor Oberst is a lyrical genius. I've seen Bright Eyes perform four times and it never gets old. At awesome venues, too: twice in San Francisco, in Berkeley and in Santa Cruz. I love how members of the band are always changing. What's your favorite bright eyes song? I'm listening to 'Motion Sickness' from Noise Floor quite a lot. It's an outstandingly beautiful song. It inspired me to draw a scene depicted in the song. Conor's my muse, lol.

I've been listening to Conor's other band Desparecidos a lot lately. Bright Eyes will always be one of my favorite bands.

Ooh, I love Desa. Did you go to any of the shows on the last Bright Eyes tour? I was so worried that they wouldn't schedule a stop in Seattle but they *finally* did. I'm loving the newest album. It's in line with a lot of my current beliefs.
OH, and I have a Bright Eyes-flavored webcomic now - you should check it out! Here's the link to the first chapter. There are a lot of inside jokes that only a fan would get.
