I slept in a bed last night

which made a nice change. it was squishy and snuggly and I had a hot water bottle and everything. novelty value, eh.

Now I'm curious...Where do you normally sleep? y s/o would love to sleep in a bed too I think. He's been bunking down on his parents' couch for awhile now. It's not too bad at night but he also works nights half the time and it's hard to get any decent sleep on a couch in the middle of the living room during the day when everyone else is awake. We're looking at a place tomorrow though so hopefully that will change soon.

on the sofa, in a sleeping bag. the roof in my bedroom has been completely damaged since january, and there's been so many delays getting builders to sort it out.

Ah that makes sense! And here I was worried you usually slept in a tree or something. Hope they get things sorted out soon.

Dare I ask what you NORMALLY sleep in? I don't know that I can remember sleeping with a hot water bottle ever, I sort of funny about plastics & rubber on my body. Heck, I can barely tollerate bare skin (my own) next to more bare skin. I donno about anyone else, my only sleeping companions are cats & they have fur.
