Which online dating service is the best?

I have tried a lot of them, but I wanted other people's opinions on the various dating sites. Which one is the best value? Which one results in meeting more people? Which ones should be avoided? And why?

I've never really been an active member on dating sites, although I have met quite a few people http:// candishoppe.com that have become pretty good friends.

Thanks, but I don't think I would like that site. I'm seeking something oriented more toward mature adults.

I actually met my husband on Match.com. We emailed for about 5 weeks until we finally met. It was love at first sight. We were married about a year later. So I definitely think it is a great site.

Match.com has a lot of good selling points and I was actually a member there for several months; however, I couldn't find anyone meeting my basic criteria in my area.
