Why do you learn English after leaving school ?

I am not an English speaker, I mean it is not my first language. I learned a little when I was at school and later I found out it could be very useful because of the internet. I like English very much so I am trying to get better at it.

since i enter school, we use the english language. and when im become a highschool student i transfer in other school, and there we re obliged to speak in english when we are going to different offices in our school. and we also speakenglish during our english subject, if we didn't speak in english, our grade will going to have a deduction. but that rule is not always be implemented to us. they cant force the students if they do not want to speak in english because many of the students are shy or simply having a hard time to learn to speak in english language. and i think ny english is not yet good so im still practicing it.

Base on experience... Knowing how to read, write, and speak engligh is very important nowadays. I was able to get two good jobs because i am fluent in both written and verbal english... maybe as of now you don't see its importance but in the future you will.

Hi.first of all i would like to say that as english is spoken throughout the world,it must be learned right from your childhood. Now as per the topic english is taught right from your school days,when you take admission in school. The importance of learning english can be known from the fact that internet is based on english language.You will not find any other language language being used except for some organisational websites. Taking another example whenever you go for an interview in any company they see how is your english,how well you communicate with others using english. I myself has joined an online dictionary which mails me one new english word everyday.Today i can say that although my native language is not english but still it is better than many of others. So keep the process of learning english going on because it will helpyou throughout your life.
