Better to have your academic study abroad and the country should be the most developed country.
Today's world there is no longer 'far distance' as all transport technology available made mindless for linear distance and counts for time distance. Everybody now commonly use these question - "For how many hours can we reach .....?".
Talking about "culture shock", that is the negative thinking of the people for those who cannot pursue their study abroad. The transition of "culture shock" should be change to "culture exchange". Look for advantages and not for disadvantages and its happening in all countries through out the world.
The imperative objective is to progress in academic learning. Go for objective and don't run for unnecessarily things.
OK Bye for noe.
Me,
Michael.

Thanks for your answer.
But don't you think sometimes the disadvantages do exist and we can't find a way to work out .There is a lot of differences between people from various countries,in the way they see things ,deal with problems and live.As a matter of fact, these differences are partly shadowed due to globalization. However, the idea of going to a place where people speak different language , somehow ,seems a little scare to me.but my mum insist on sending me to study abroad.Alas!
