Its my fathers birthday soon, what shoul I get him?

My father will be 63 this year. He as gone to be a stayhome man and retired from his work this summer. He say that he suppose to just have fun. Now, his burthday is coming soon and I do not know what to give him. Do anyone have any suggestions you are most welcome.

What about a gift certificate to an airline, a ticket or two to a show, or something that he is interested in. What is his interests? You could also get him a travel book, or even the entertainment book, so that he can get a little encouragement to have some fun.

Maybe you could get a voucher for an outing of some type. Do they have day trips out on boats or something in your area? Or a helicopter ride maybe. If he likes staying at home, does he like gardening. Maybe something to do with the garden.

No, we do not have much of these things around were we live. But I have come to a decision as always. I will by him lotterytickets. I know he enjoy them. But I always give him that and wanted to give something els for a change. But I have no time to spend for shopping since I´m working a lot this week. Thanks for the tip and for responding..*smile*
