Hi jetvin1703! :) I believe that you can care for somebody that much and sometimes we consider it that it's already love. With regard to the "unconditional" part, God is the only one capable of giving such, for me. :)
You're right about that. I, too can open more things with my friends than my family.
Take care and God bless!

Yes I do believe in unconditional love. Love has got nothing to do with blood. It is a feeling which makes you do anything for someone. And I think if you really love someone it should be unconditional because love is not a contract it is feeling...an emotion.
I love my darling, my life, my everything,my beloved. She loves me but not as a lover but as a friend. But this has not created any hesitation in my mind. I love her and I still love her after 2 and half years of separation.

I agree with you that when you love someone, it should be unconditional and honest. Putting conditions in a relationship does not do any good to the relationship. Those who put conditions, do not succeed in maintaining everlasting and long relationship.

I definitely believe you can love friends and others but I am not 100% sure about the unconditional part. I suppose if two people are very, very close and very honest and sincere with each other, yes. But I know that there are things that people could do that would make me stop loving them or at least lose some of my deep respect and love for them. I have a wall up though and expect people to hurt me so I am sure others will say that unconditional love is very possible -- and it is. But rare, in my opinion.
Good topic!

Unconditional love is what God gives to us. We, by nature are creatures of emotions, and many times our emotions come into play in giving and accepting love. to really have unconditional love, you must accept a person as they truly are-- the good and the bad-- and then make up your mind to love them through any experience they have or are going through. True love gives without the expectation of receiving. True love is a gift from God.
