Yes, itis only the feeling. There will always be shortcomings of both. There should be give and take pricniple, accommodating the idiosyncracies of the other person, a bit of generosity and a bit of kindness -- all these are important for a successful married life. Ultimately it is the mutual trust and mutual understanding that will make the marriage success. As soon as one marries one cannot expect perfection. It is like a diamond, more you sharpen, more it shines.!!

May be not a perfect marriage, but you can get a lasting and happy marriage. It is two different personalities and two different sexes for that matter who is combined together, so there would be lots of problems. However, it is how we deal with it that would make it a lasting and happy marriage or not.Go to www.freewebs.com/hendriklive for a very good article, "12 Tips for a Happy Marriage.

i do not think that there is a perfect marriage. couples must work it out. marriage is a constant battle of wills. to even have a successful one, the spouses must learn how to give and think of the other before thy self.

I'm not married but I don't think marriages are made in heaven. Both the persons in marriage have to work consistently to make it work and to make their own heaven on earth. It is not readymade.
