What brands of cat food do you think are the best?

I just switched my cat's food Friskies to Natural Balance, both canned and dry. So far, I can see that my cat loves it and his coat is really getting "shinier". However, each can of Natural Balance cost me about $1.15 if I buy it in Petco. Do you know any brands of the same quality that cost cheaper? On the other hand, price aside, what brands do you think are the best?
