Sometimes I get so frustrated when something that isnt even 5 years old is discontinued... I had to buy an entirely new stove since one of the burners went out, and it effected the entire thing. I had someone from sears come in and tell me that I needed a new piece to fix it, but that the stove is discontinued and the part isn't manufactured anymore. And a similar thing happend with my Vacuum, It broke but lasted me 10 years, I wanted the same kind, well I bought a new one 2 years ago, and it's already broken... Why are we manufacturing appliences that break faster? For more money? So that we can be repeat customers? Boy am I going to upset when XP or my entire computer is considered "old" *sigh* Has this ever happend to you??

I am missing a knob and a rack on my current stove, and can't replace them because they no longer make that model. Actually, XP is considered old already. And if your computer was designed to work around that system, it is out of date also. Vista is the latest version of Windows, and chews up more memory and processing than XP. Personally, I am crossing my fingers and hoping that my computer with its XP can survive for another two years. i just can't afford to replace it--poor college student and struggling freelance writer. *sigh*
