so why are we so addicted to mobiles and computers

Because these technologies which helps us to get the requirements easly and faster than previous technology....

They put us in touch with world and gives us more free time.

I think we are hooked on computers and mobiles because of the convenience. I have recently relocated to Arizona, and taking my work with me was a breeze since it was all stored in my computer. I just had to pack up my computer bag, and I had all of my business stuff with me.

I think because it offers us easier ways of communication. it solves the long distance gap between friends, families, lovers, etc. Mobiles give us the pleasure of communicating for a cheap price. computers are the same, plus the fact, that you can find a lot, billions and zillions tons of information on the net which may be practically useful or just entertaining. ^__^ it satisfies our thirst for info on different things.

I think it's because we opted to develop things instead of ourselves! Imagine using telepathy instead of mobiles! :)
