Have you lost the FAITH?

I've tried Surfjunky, Cashcrate, Inbox Dollars, Myster-e-mail, SendEarnings, Mysteryshopper, and gobs of survey sites just to name a few (not to mention myLot! I don't tend to think of money when I think of myLot. That's clearly NOT why I'm here.) myLot has paid me once and Sendearnings has paid me once. I've made about 30 dollars in a year's worth of clicking - I usually don't qualify to complete surveys. I guess no one's interested in the shopping habits of a 44 year old black woman! lol The IDEA of making money on the internet, of course, has always appealed to me. As it has to many of you. I know a lot of you have tried and are trying just to make a few extra dollars. I don't think any of us plan to give up our day jobs or to become cyber-millionaires, we just need a couple of hundred dollars a month to make a difference. Right? Well, I paid for a system, tried it out and it worked. I was shocked! stunned! My granddaughter and I were dancing around the living room singing "I made 20 dollars!" I offered to share that information with any myLotter in the US or Canada who wanted it. SHARE. GIVE. Only 3 people were remotely interested in even hearing what it was about. I think that we are all just oversaturated and have lost faith in ever achieving anything financial on the internet (except maybe the occaisonal ebay sale!) That's crazy to me because this is such an accessible, global marketplace - I can't believe that I can't find my niche in it. Well, I've found a little pipeline and I guess I'll just go on quietly working it - without any mylotters:-( I completely understand. There are just too many broken promises and too much hype. (Oh, btw, I'm up to 75 dollars after spending a couple of hours over the weekend on this method.) Good luck with ptc and yuwie! Did I mention there are no downlines or tiers or matrixes? You sign up once under a referral and then you are on your own. You, yourself, never have to get one referral. Sorry, my enthusiasm was showing! lol

I am glad to hear how elated you are with your new source of income. I haven't lost faith with any of the other sites you mention because I have never involved myself in any of them...nor do I intend to. Thankfully my work as a free lance writer adds to other income my hubby and I generate. After scattering my energies here and there for too many years in the past I prefer to focus on a couple of projects and do them well. Mylotting is not considered part of my job. I am here to share ideas and enjoy being exposed to sites I might otherwise not know of. What I do make for participating in forums I enjoy is a bonus. So having said that...I wondered if you have considered writing for Helium or Associated Content. You express your ideas well, have keen insight and interesting perspectives. They do pay their writers and it might be another avenue of financial support. Anyway, keep on doing what you are doing and I wish you great success!

Thanks, perspectives, for the kind words and the suggestion. I recently submitted my first article to Associated Content. It is a consumer review of a beauty product. Apparently, the editors don't pay for that sort of article so I have re-submitted it for non-payment publication. It just seems to me that if the editors don't pay for your article, somehow you have to generate hits. I don't know how many hits it takes to get a performance bonus, but I don't blog so where would I get readers? Anyhow, are you published on the web? I'd like to read your work if you are. Congratulations, Oreocookie! 80 dollars for your writing must give you a good feeling. How do I find your content?

Um, perspectives, sorry for the obtuse question of where to find your online work! DUH! I just went to your profile and am now checking out your website. I may not be quick but I'm persistent!

I am glad that you have found something. I do surveys more for fun. I don't qualify and I don't know why. I don't like to get into something that has to have multiple referrals. If you want you can PM me with the info and I would be glad to check it out.
