Which abortion method is best? Some say the pill because it offers you privacy in the comfort of your own home. But also is followed by 2 office visits. Some also say that having the procedure of it all scooped out is better because it is a one time office visit to that particular clinic and then you can have follow ups at your own doctors office? I like the option of the pill. Its private and you can do it in the comfort of your own home. Its not evasive and has less chance of scarring the uterus. Yeah it may take longer than the procedure but i like natural than unnatural. The only down side is if it doesnt take you will have to opt for the procedure part of it.

I don't know which one is the best all i can tell you is that i had the D&C method under general anesthesia and I didnt have any cramping whatsoever after it was done.
I couldn't do any lifting for two weeks and that was it. I was able to go to work the next day. No complications either.
I did see some women at the clinic have major cramping afterwards. Guess I was one of the lucky ones.

How about none?
there is no best method to murder an unborn child.
I would say the best thing would to be either use protection or adoption or keep it and take care of your responsibilities..
there are a lot of things that someone could do..besides killing it..

Well thanks for your response to this discussion. I do get that people frown apon it but lets face it. People get themselves in all kinds of situations we cant understand. There are many reason why abortions take place and well if you did go ahead and have one, its which method would you use. Lets face it abortion is here and no matter what any law maker says its still going to happen. Its nice to view which option is safer. Yeah if we all had our way, i am sure everyone would keep there child. But we dont and folks dont want to keep it!

What do you mean it isn't an unborn child? Of course it is! It's a baby. A fetus is a baby. And jennifer is absolutly right. If you don't want the baby put it up for adoption.
I know I don't want to have a baby, ever. It isn't one of my plans in life. But if I ever did become pregnant I would never have an abortion, and I wouldn't put it up for adoption. I couldn't do that, I would keep the baby, because it's my child and my responsibility.

Abortion is a wrong doing and there are no best method to do it. Whatever method, that is a crime of committing a murder or killing the life. Abortion is an absolutely wrong and it is a crime of murder. And absolutely I am not favor for this. And I think the fetus have life and like us she/he have a right to see this wonderful world.

I'd say it depends on the woman's needs & situation. In areas where there are protesters outside of clinics, particularly aggressive & dangerous protesters; the pill form should get you in & out of the office quickly. The downside is that you will have to return at least once, and usually twice. For woman afraid of the medical procedure, the pill may also relieve their concerns on that front. Some other cons for the pill is that it's not quick. The woman will be at home while the pregnancy passes & it can take quite some time for that to happen. Some women may find that troublesome. The cramping is likely to be worse, and I suppose there is probably some risks of allergies as with any medication.
The tradition D&C style termination is relatively painless. It can be done under general or local annestesia. Once the procedure is over, the bleeding & discomfort seldom lasts for more than a few hours. The woman is unlikely to need to be seen again.

I see you need help. Do you know that most wemen that get abortion are metally scare for the rest of there life. Because the killed a baby. This is sad thing too have to carry around with you all your life.
And its really sad that you are asking people online about this that do not know you or care avout you in any way what so every.
beside the fact that there are young people on mylot that really do not need to read about how to kill a baby,

I had one and I am not "mentally scarred".
I certainly don't feel like I killed anyone. You are not killing a baby, you are terminating a fetus.
I was counseled before I had it done.
Thats what the clinics do, counsel you and if after the counseling, you decide not to have one then you just walk out the door.

I know this is a very controversal subject and well i post it for responses but also its apart of life! No not everyone has it in theirs but people do need to know that its out there! Its an option and if they feel they need it, it should be there for them. No matter how many times they may abuse it. I dont always agree with the whys and hows but hey each one will suffer there own consequence. But i disagee, you folks need to read about it. They need to know what choices they have in life, wether it be good or bad. Women who are mentally scarred probably are not in the best position to have childrens so its like a no win situation.
