I have tried many and well i have narrowed it down to the ring! I started off with the pill and well if you dont take it every day at the same time, it can be less effective not to mention if you forget a day and then try to double up or restart on the next sunday after your period, i find that i have a period for about 3 weeks. Then after all those years of trial and error with the pill i tried to use the depo shot which i am totally against. Yeah its a shot once every 3 months but the weight gain along with the acne makes you not want to be social even if you do have a boyfriend. The acne that i got was so terrible i didnt want my boyfriend to even look at me. It was creating a abstant kind of birth control for me. Besides with the weight gain i felt really ugly. Not to mention the 6 months of break though bleeding. But then not having a period kind of freaked me out. A women who i worked with got pregnant with the depo and well since she was use to not getting a period she didnt think there was anything wrong. Now times are changing and they have much better methods, i use the ring. 3 weeks in and then take out for a period seems much convient for me. The only down side is keeping track which week i am on. But its very convient for the folks who might for get to take a pill at the same time ever day and as well as not to worry about bad weight gain or bad acne. I am sure i tried others. Before i found the ring i just sucked it up and did the pull out method. But a guy has to be in great control and know what he is doing. What method works for you? How many other methods did you try.

I have been On the Pill For Years. I have Never took it at the same time every day. I normally just take it before bed (any time from 9pm - 1am). I have also missed a day here & there. I have never had a problem with it really, but I just hate having to take anything at all. When I 1st when on it The doctor told me I could gain 20bls (& Did, Bleh). That's all I have used, & worked for me, So I Stuck with it. Can't wait till the day to get off it though. ;-) To comment on your thoughts of depo shot, I'm pretty against it too (didn't use it, but friend did). It made my friend get bloated feeling. Also when she went on it she gain like 30lbs, if not more P.S. (about the pill) Not saying you shouldn't take it the same time every day, or to miss any days.. Just saying that hasn't had an effect on me.

That is great, you sound like your having a great pill experience. Yeah some women i guess are to sensitive with that. I guess any little extra hormone sets my periods off.

I used to be on the pill, but I regret it now. The pill screwed up my body so badly.

At first I started out on the pill. I had trouble remembering to take the pill every day at the same time and I would occasionally forget to take the pill at all. That got old quick so I switched to the depo shot. I love the Depo shot. I was afraid to get on it because I heard that it does cause weight gain, but I didn't experience any. The shot actually doesn't cause weight gain, it does cause you to have an increase in appetite so you just have to watch what you eat. I started drinking more water and consuming more fruits and veggies and I have not had any problems with weight gain or acne. However, when I first started taking it I did have mood swings and spotting. Now I've been on it more than a year and I love not getting periods anymore. It makes me feel more free and in control.

Wow that sounds successful for you. It seems that your on a nice diet, i tend to be bad when it comes to food and well the depo didnt let me take weight off faster like the others do. I guess eating alot of meat isnt good and must cause some kind of reaction. Well congrats for you. Thanks for your response.

we try using rythm method but it is not actually safe some cell may continue going in and you might get pregnant so far we have 3 kids now using this method with different age gap. perfect, other you may use calendar methods after your menstrual period it is safe for 7-8 day after the tenth day you are going to be fertile, after 7 day menstrual is coming and it is safe again. there is four cycle 28 divided by 7 is 4 so count 7 days safe 7and 7 day unsafe then 7 day menstrual day .you can search for the appropriate cycle in internet. dont worry it is safer than pills, it produces abnormality baby or you may not have baby again according to the research.
