We used to have a gun, but unfortunetelly we had to pawn it.
Now, all we have is a very high powered pelet gun!
So, if an intruder ever breaks in my house, they will be peppered with pelets!
It is a quick shot pelet gun and can shoot 8 shots in a row.
So, I have 8 shots to use.
I doubt it would do much damage, besides pissing someone off! :D
But, fortunetelly, I live in a safe area so I don't really have to worry.
So, how about you?
Do you have anything to protect yourself from an intruder in your house?
Tell all!

yes we have a burglar alarm system in our house to detect any intrusion attempt. The alarm is so loud that every one in the vicinity will be awakened by that, few months back it went of with out any reason and caused lot of embaressment. The alarm is mainly installed for 2 major things,
1. When the alarm goes of we hope it will scare away the thief
2. The alarm is also a signal for us to hide :P

You're a right, the loud sound will scare most if not all of the intruder.

hmm, we have kitchen knives, and hockey sticks, golf clubs, and hairspray! man, but really, if someone tried to come into our place though...first they'd trip over my son's toys, then land on some other toys, then would have to make a path to even get to the TV which is probably the most expensive thing we own, hahaha. they would never make it to the bedrooms without us hearing so if they weren't going to rob us, but wanted to kill...we would totally wake up and be able to take the dude out before he could get to us! we live in such a tiny place, with so much stuff. here's to being messy sometimes! haha. i never clean up the toys before bed, it's always the next morning...hmm, maybe that's the reasoning behind our chaotic state of living afterall! HAHAHA! hey, any excuse right? HAHAHA!

oh, and my hubby's a US Marine Corps Vet. he would most likely go into Marine mode, and break the dude somewhere, and the guy would go running, or he'd immobilize him somehow and wait for the cops, haha. human weapon!!

We have various things to keep our home protected from intruders really....2 dogs for starters and my insanity and fondness for bashing in heads with a crowbar ;-)

we dont have any "weapon" to depend ourselves against intruders or thieves or whatever. but i did imagine lifting up any heavy things in our house and slamming it hard to any bad element who dares to hurt us. LOL we have heavy narra chairs which i find difficult to carry but with a rush of adrenaline, i'd probably be able to lift it up and smash it into someone's back. LOL
i've always thought of having a baseball bat though. and i've thought of buying one. but it is sooo expensive! and besides, there hasnt any incidents of tresspassing or theft in our neighborhood. its practically safe. ^__^

We have an Akita. He is 125 pounds and once you hear him bark you won't be coming for a visit. If you're a robber that is. I don't even lock my doors. Our neighborhood is safe. We haven't had any problems or heard of any problems around here.

We don't have anything as far as weapons in the house. Besides some cheap steak knives, I guess. We do have three locks on our door, though, and our apartment complex has a door that locks automatically on our building. If anyone was to try to break into our place they would either have to somehow get in the building without a key, or live here. I am not too worried about it, although down the street we did have a stabbing, not to mention a kidnapping/rape situation and a separate shooting. I'm still not worried lol.
