I've been selling on ebay for over 6 years and now have a store there...yes it's very time consuming. I definitely don't like turbolister it's a pain in the butt. There are literally hundreds of free auction listing programs available on the internet and you just have to try them out to find the one that you like the best. As of now I'm just using the ebay site way it's the easiest as far as I'm concerned. Do not ever send out an item until you have the money IN YOUR HAND! and if it's a money order make sure you get it cashed first. Believe me when I tell you this. I won't ship out of the country any more especially since postage has gone up so high. You can go to...I didn't see what country you are in but in the us go to usps.com and you can figure out postage to any place there. I would be more than happy to give you any tips....just pm me! By the way....summer time is very, very slow but it will be picking up soon with Christmas coming! Good luck.

O my christmas is comeing up fast an thats no joke. I need to find some good thing to sell before than.Do you dropship for any companys?

I have only accepted paypal, not other methods of payment. And I only do sales in Canada and the United States, it's just too costly and stressful to send things to another continent. (Although I did once send something on etsy.com to France, but it was very small and light, and it was my first etsy sale, I think that's different).
I've been pretty lucky in that I haven't had any problems with buyers or sellers, but I've also been pretty careful. I hope you will be too.

I know what you mean about listing being time consuming. I set up my Ebay Store yesterday, and I was only able to list 3 things. I have about 50 more to go. I just sat down and set a goal of 20 a day. I do not accept money orders there are lot fraud where money order is concerned so I am skeptical about those.

Do you have a tired butt like me from sitting on the pc for hours?.It has taken me forever to list my stuff to sell.I was really stress out by the time i was done.an im still adding more everyday. But have you tryed the turbo listing yet? I did an i didnt like it.So i went back to old way of listing.I dont blame you for not accepting money orders im afraid of them also.

I have found it easiest to list one at a time. it is very time consuming but it does work better for me. You can go to the post office website at http://www.usps.com to find postage rates for other countries as long as you know the weight of the item you are sending. You can get a real close approximation of the shipping cost that way. As for accepting money orders, that is up to you. I do accept money orders and especially if it is for someone overseas without paypal or someone in the US without paypal. I prefer paypal as my payment though. Generally speaking checks are the worst since someone can write one and they do bounce them. I tend not to accept checks unless I absolutely have to. I hope I have answered your questions.

Yes you have answer alot of my question.Im just afraid of money orders an checks.I just accept paypal.Have you ever gotten a bad money order? What do you do, if it is bad? I tryed the online UPS an they could not give me an answer on shipping because i did not know what part of france to ship it to,so i went to a ups store an found out the cost was way to much to even mess with shipping it to france.

I simply do not ship outside of the US. It is too much of a hassle and when the new postal rates went into effect, the cost rose substantially. As far as payment, I accept PayPal only, and only from customers with a confirmed address. take it from me, if you want a fun easy time on ebay, follow those guidelines. You may lose a little bit of money but it's so much easier an hassle free!
