one bad decision not enforce follow-on with 5 sessions of play to spare,
does this show the lack of confidence on the bowlers? even they done very well in the first innings to contain England batsmen.
the match, which could have been won comfortably, is ended in a draw
any indian cricket fan will be happy as at least team have won the series after quite a long time

Yes, I entirely agree with you, one bad decision took away the match from us...I am still wondering why did they took this defensive decision.

well i think the decision of not enforcing the follow on was correct cause according to the pitch it would have been a hell on last day but then i think england must have rolled a roller on the pitch cause evey pitch epert told it will spin a lot on day 5 and also the ecidence was seen on forst day when monty got so much turn adn bounce.

I can understand the decision not to enforce the follow-on. A series win is foremost on Dravid's mind rather than the final game itself. But the approach by Dravid and his batsmen in the second innings is difficult to understand.
When a team is leading by more than 300 runs, you would expect some fireworks from the batsmen. But, the captain scored 12 runs off 96 deliveries. The way he defended looked as though India is trying to save the match.
A good opportunity is lost.

That is indeed true that the indians have played a very negative game yesterday and ended up drawing the game rather than winning it. I really did not agree with the team about not allowing england to follow on. Anyway they have won a series after a long time, let's cherish this.
