do you think Tevez will play a role as important as Roony?

As an arsenal fan im delighted by the fact that Rooney is out. He's been troubling the gunners ever since he joined man utd. But on the other hand I believe Tevez will be an OK addition. He's not played much english football so I dont think he will be good at the start. However he's yet to show his talents.

tevez and rooney are two great players... they have their own style and both of them are doin a good job for manchester united...

After Rooney left united couse of bad injured,i guess there is a time for Tevez or other striker to shows that they can help Man Utd to the next Cup Victory.I'm hoping that Nani,Saha will shows his best upon his best performances,beside Ronaldo,Nani,Hargreaves,Fletcher,Oshea,Giggs,Schole and others MU players!

Tevez is a good player...but seems rooney is in good form now...also there is no need to tevez to take the position of rooney...tevez will make a new position in the line up of man utd... and their combination will make more difference...and will sound great...!

tevez cannot replace rooney, maybe 2 or 3 year time. he is still new in english primership. Ferguson shud have grab berbatov instead. poor MAn U. A lot of expert has predict that Man U will win this season and Arsenal will flop without Henry. well I don't think so. Now u see what happen. the unexpected is happening

well .. i do think .. tevez can play a role as important as rooney . he has the determination n the neva die sprit .. he keeps chasing down balls .. i think .. he will develop into a gud Man U striker :)

Tevez should play a role more important than rooney now , cos he is not only covering for rooney , but he is the only fit striker untill saha comes in . So its not just playing without any injuries and but scoring goals , without any prematch preparations , but then he is a talent , he is an argy ! and i hope he can score goals ! and kick start our season

I think we Rooney's injury has thrust Tevez in the thick of the action straight away. In a way, I think it is good for him that he did not have to cool his heels on the bench for too long. I think Tevez would be looking to put the whole affair relating to his transfer saga behind him and looking for some real football action. I hope he does play as important a role as Rooney!! Cheers! both are similar kind of players and maybe tevez can deliver for man utd the way he did for the hammers. and saha and ole are back in training. thats sort of a good news. hope rooney recovers soon.

Since Wayne Rooney shall be out for a minimum period of 2 months :( we have to draft in Tevez straightforwardly into our starting 11. Now comes the turn of assessment. When we play Tevez as a lone striker , what sort of a role do we expect out of him. Personally i feel comparing Rooney and Tevez isn't right. The role which Rooney played for us cannot be taken up by Tevez because Rooney is an altogether different player. He can shoot from range, has a deadly explosive right foot, plays in midfield for most of the time,can help in defending as well. I dont think Tevez can fill in all those roles. We need Tevez for scoring goals and providing assists and if he manages to achieve that, our goal is achieved too :)
