I am tired of the way this works sometimes

Tuesday morning I had $11.37. I just got on again and I am at $11.35. What is going on here. I also hate it when I can't figure out why this happens. My numbers haven't changed just the dollar amout so I don't get it at all. What gives with mylot lately?

I have noticed sometimes that my post amounts will change by 1 or 2 points when a discussion I replied to was deleted, then a couple of days later, my pay will decrease by a couple of cents. I think mylot does not delete points and pay at the same time. Like this week, I warned a member she was posting spam and I knew her post would be removed. 3 days later sure enough her post got deleted and I lost the point for it. Two days after that, I lost a penny mylot had credited me for her post. So I think part of the problem is mylot isn't deleting both points and pay at the same time and that causes problems. If I had not took note of posting to bad discussions, I wouldn't have known what had happen.

I guess that makes sense. It would be easier if they changed it all at one time. I had seen my posts number drop but then it took two days for the dollar amount to drop.

I understand that now. I just didn't get why it took two days for the dollars to catch up to the post record.

Your right and it s o frustratig. One day my posts increasted and my earning for the day increased but my total remainded the same. one day you post one response and your earning increase 5 cents, the next day you post 6 or 7 responses and get 2 cents.

I have noticed that. I can't seem to make any progress here. I always seem to be going downhill instead of making any money. Not that I expected to be able to use this as a way to quit working but it would be nice to have a little extra.

I don't think it's fair that you lose just because the poster got his/her post removed. After all you took the time to read the post and then took the time to respond to said post. How are we to know if a post is going to be deleted? If they are going to pay for responding then they should pay for those who responded even if the post got removed. Like I said it isn't being fair to those who respond.

I agree with you. I can also see their point. If the discussion gets deleted, why should they pay anyone for it? I mean if we see that it is something that will likely be deleted anyway, then it is our fault when that does happen. If we know the rules most of the ones that get deleted we will catch.

Have you contacted mylot and ssked them what has happed to your earnings. I did and they told me they over paid some people and I was one of them. I then got the money back in acouple of day.

Interesting. I have no clue how they decide to pay us anyway as it seems to be very different at different times. Sometimes I will reply to several discussions and with well thought out longer answers and still only get 2 cents. Other times I will get more.

You mean the earning needs 1 day to be updated? I don't like it too.

My earnings had already been updated for the day. Then after they were updated they went down by 2 cents. that is what I don't understand. It just frustrates me. I will never actually leave the site or quit posting but it does make me wonder what they are doing.
