1. what is the resulting function if a=0 in f(x) = ax squared +bx+ c is it a. linear b. constant c. quadratic d. cubic 2. what function is described if a=0 in f(x) = a(x-h) squared + K is it a. linear b. constant c. quadratic d. cubic thanks a lot!

In question 1, once you replace (a) with 0, then ax2=0, leaving bx+c as the resulting equation, which is LINEAR. In question 2, doing the same substitution as what we did with (a) in #1 will leave K, which is of course the CONSTANT.

Maths is very good subject and i love it. 1- if a=0 in f(x)= ax squared +bx+ c id it ans - is b. constantx 2- if a=0 in f(x)= a(x-h_ squared +k ans - is c. quadratic

answer for f(x)=ax^2+bx+c if a=0 is a linear function and the answer for next one is constant

1. linear Zero times anything is zero, so it ends up being bx + c, which is linear 2. constant
