we adopted 2 kittens in may. they are about 41/2 months old. we had them spay and neutered on july 26, 2006. we did not declaw them and have no intentions of doing so. they both learned to use the litter box a few weeks after we got them. they were both using tie litter box right after the spay/neuter. we have a male and a female. i bought this fresh flow water thing and i think it freaked them out. now the male is pooping all over the house! we seperated them for a while, but it was pitiful to see them want to be together. now we have them both in a very small bathroom and the male is still not using the litter box. any help would be much appreciated!! tahnk you

If you want them to continue to use the litter box in that bathroom then you need to get rid of the fresh flow water (I am assuming this is something for you bathroom and not a cat fountain). The other option is to buy a covered litter box and put it somewhere else in your house. Are there any other factors that can be contributing to this? Any food changes, someone new in the house, anything else different? So you have their food, water and litter in on place? If so, that could also be a problem.
