What is your understanding of "Global citizenship begins at home"?

To be honest, "Global citizenship begins at home" is a title of speech waiting for my preparation. I have no idea of this topic right now.And I always confuse "global citizenship" with "globalization". Please lend me your wise.The opinions from any perspective are welcome.Is it means the change at home with globalization? Or is it means that you should take more care of your family if you want to be a successful global citizenship? Or is it means every family can dedicate something to the world globalization?~~I am looking forward to your ideas.
