Every book I pick up these days turns all Jesus-Jesus-Jesus really quickly, and that does not fly with me. I want something completely secular!
Can anyone recommend some recently published fiction, especially sci-fi or mainstream contemporary, that does not feature any religion, especially xtianity? I prefer stand-alone novels to series. Thanks!

RachelNextDoor you need some light science a very real scii that will lead you towards lesser known science of human body.
Just read these
www.awgp.org/books/english/biophysical_energy.pdf
www.awgp.org/books/english/the_extra_sensory_potentials_of_mind.pdf
It is free to download for offline reading many more books can be found of such sort on this link
www.awgp.org/gamma/LiteratureEnglish.
Although the site is about Goddess Gayatri but the books you will enjoy as scientific literature. They are mainly about your own personal up-lift-ment.
Have you really studied about the Jesus. I think you would have then I feel really it would not have been so boring to you. Read this then I will give you some thing very important about Jesus and his extra sensory powers.
