Do you know someone who has aids?

Well the truth is, I do not know. I do not know anybody who has full-blown AIDS but I could easily have met people who were HIV-positive and not been aware of it. After all being HIV-positive is not a disease, it merely indicates that you have been exposed to the virus and have the antibodies in your blood.

Dont know, because at my place the aids person is so afraid to tell that they have an aids!

in the 80's I lost a number of friends to AIDS. Presently, I know one guy who has HIV, but he is fine for now. His blood counts are such that he doesn't even need medication at this point. I pray it continues. I wouldn't want to lose another friend to this dreaded disease.

Well I heard that saying years ago too but to this date I have never met anyone with AIDS or even anyone who is HIV positive (that I know of anyway). I don't know if that is good or bad but I hope it is good, i.e. meaning that this illness is spreading far slower than predicted years ago :)

are you know about that people? me...i never meet them,i just see from the tv...that is danger?

I don't know anyone with AIDS that I know of. It's strange because I know such a diverse group of people and yet I don't know of any of them who have the disease. They may and have not shared that info but, as far as I know, I don't know anyone with it.

My beloved friend Kevin Irvine has the horrible disease. He's a longterm HIV survivor. He has hemophilia, a blood clotting disorder, and got bad blood factor before they started testing the blood for HIV.

I do know 2 people who are HIV+ (!!!!) And they are the most lovely people I know.

I know abt the aids,but till now i have not met any friend in and round me.
