What is the best way to advertise Ebay auctions?
I recently sold some things and they did okay. I would have liked more watchers/bids on them.. I advertise in Livejournal communities, my blog, and on my mylot profile. Other than that, I don't know any good ways to advertise (for free) Has anyone ever put a link to their Ebay listings on Craigslist?

I usually include pictures. This time I got a little lazy and just made one listing the designers names. I'll see if it works, I guess. Thanks.

use more keywords and tags.... Think on the buyers level. If you were buying a watch what would you type into the search box? Think like this and you're certainly going to get a few extra hits!!
Good luck

I, myself, am curious to the answer to that same question. I wouldn't have even considered asking it, though, meaning I didn't think of it--thanks for doing so!

I have sold on ebay before with no problems. The thing with auctions and other sales is that you have to have something people want. It maybe worth a lot to you but maybe not to anyone else. I think that people who put pictures on get a good response. I think it is great that you talk about your auctions on your blog and other chat sites. That is a plus.
You just have to have the right person to see your auction and bid. I personally look for a lot of different things on ebay when I browse. However, if you are selling glass wear I would not be interested in it no matter what you did. Now if you were selling a star trek ornament that would catch my attention. One man's junk is another man's treasure. You just have to be patient and hope that the man who thinks your junk is a treasure is online to see it.
You can also list stuff on half.com which is an afiliate of ebay. This is not an auction site. You list the products you want to sell and they stay there until they are sold.
