I haven't seen my ex in a really long time, although I have talked to his mother, because I needed some information from her. I'm actually friends with someone my husband once dated, although we don't talk very often. It was really funny when I started dating him though - she and I had only been friends for a little while, and she was "oh, I went to this dance with him!" He didn't keep in contact with her, but I stayed friends with her, as she's not the jealous or annoying type.

i was in a 5-year relationship with a guy. when he broke up with me, i thought we could be friends but he said no. three years after, he comes back and i'm the one who's saying no, we cannot be friends -- especially now that he has hooked up with my college best friend! out of love and respect, i told them to just leave me out of the equation.
