o.k. Montreal steak spice I buy it in a small seasoning jar.I dont know where you live but i'll give you the ingredients so you can make your own.In a small desert dish put 1/2 tsp.salt....1/4 tsp.minced garlic....1/4 tsp.hydrogenated onion(or the powder)....1/2 tsp.pepper....Add a little bit if veg.oil, just enough to moisten lightly and mix, like a couple of drops.Let it set for 15 minutes in the bowl.Sprinkle on the meat while cooking, after you turn your meat sprinkle on the other side.Only add enough for your taste because the garlic&onion is a little bit strong. When your meat is browned nicely and a little bit pink on the inside its ready. The aroma of the spices is irrestible!cooking on the bbq.

My husband is the chef in our house- he would normally put it in a pan with some soy and ginger sauce- a little bit of onions and garlic-and sometimes he will add a little salad dressing. Mmmmmmmmmmm yummy!!!

All a good grilling steak needs is a sprinkling of Montreal steak spice. And personally I believe cooking it more then medium rare is sacriligious.
