How many files or folders do you have on your computer hard drive?

The other day I was running a spyware scan on my computer and it told me that I had over 10,000 various files and folders on my hard drive. Unbelievable! I can remember just six months ago, when I got my computer and it barely had anything on it, except for the Windows operating system and a few now deleted programs.
I guess surfing the Internet does have it's disadvantages. You're always going to run across one more file or ebook or picture that you just have to get. Or worse, you end up buying stuff and junking up your computer. That's sort of what happened to me. So, how many files or folders do you have on your computer's hard drive? How do you keep track of everything? How do you find your stuff when you really need it?

I've never really noticed how many files I have on my computer, but I'm sure it is a lot. I've had this computer for about three years now. It still has a lot of free space, but it's got a lot of stuff on it, too.
If my husband used my computer more, it probably wouldn't have nearly as much stuff on it. He's always cleaning his out and getting rid of files he doesn't use anymore. Of course, both of his computers are older and don't have as much space to store stuff. We have one computer that we use just for backing up pictures and things like that. He even gets on there and checks to see if he can get rid of stuff!

by surfing the net, some times you have to get the stuff downloaded to computer like pictures, softwares, games, movies, e-books, articles etc...
my HDD is full of files,
apart from OS files , My HDD have 191825 files and 13480 folders in it, after taking backup of around 100GB
