The Colour Purple

purple is a nice colour , but i like green more.

Is there any specialilty in this color.Or it brings any luck,i am curious to know about it.

Not so much into purple these days lilaclady, but in my teens (think I can remember back that far!) I was purple mad. My whole bedroom was done out in purple with a splash of white just to break it up a little. But with your name which I love and your setup page, it suits you and you are easy to find!

Do I ever love the color, in the past I have had a completely purple bedroom, did I ever love it!! One Xmas almost every outfit that I purchased for my daughter had a shade of purple in it. Earlier this year, I had decided I needed to go into a self inflicted detox program, and slowly ween myself off of the color purple,there are other beautiful color out there, I hope I can remain strong...SS

I love lilac, mauve and lavender in all shades of these and a little purple ,it really depends on the shade but they are definately my favourite colours.That seems to be another thing we have in common.

I love the colors, i dontt understand at all how a world would be without it's colors. Every color has it's own meaning for every person. My personal liked color is the green. I always loved it. I can't explain why but it remembers me a little of the place where i grow up. Everything was shining where i grow up and had a little tendence of green, of a fresh green. What i can say is that i am totally in love with the green color. I wear green clothes, right now my wallpaper is with the green color. I love blue too, but not much as green. I would give the blue the second place. I think there are a lot of people which love the green color and all i can say is that i agree them and their idea. I would like everything in this world would be in green i wouldn't have any problem. Like a conclusion i can say is that i love this color and i would give almoast everything to see it as often as i can.

My favorite color is black.......yup...it is......hardly anybody likes this color but i have in my favorite list. Now why if you ask ten i would say that if any other color is there then you can easy see things but in black (dark) you can hardly see anything....you have to make an effort to get yourself adjusted into such atmosphere. And life is all about trying and accepting the challenges.

I absolutely love the colour purple! It's my faveourite colour and i love all shades of it. If i had my own way i think every room in my house would be purple. I'd have purple tiles in my bathroom, dark purple leather sofas, maybe even purple kitchen units - who knows? However, my partner won't let me have any room other than my bedroom purple. In fact, i really had to argue with him to let me have even my bedroom purple! He wouldn't let me have a purple carpet either, just purple walls. However, i'm always buying purple accessories for the room, and i try to sneak in other purple items around the house. I also have quite a few purple tops that i love to wear, and purple eyeshadows too! I guess we both have great taste - great mind think alike?

i am crazy for the colour blue. since i was a child, i've always loved that colour. it's calm for me. when i got married, my motif was baby blue/ or powder blue. but my house doesn't have blue in every room though, hehehe!!

I too am obsessed with the colour purple lilaclady. I have purple in pretty much every room in the house! It is my most favorite colour and a lot of our clothes (mine and my daughters) are purple too! I like your av, very pretty!

while I'm more of a blue fan, I do love purple too...part of my room is painted a lovely shade of deep lavender that I custom mixed myself and my bathroom is painted a lighter shade of purple as well. I have a few clothes--tops and blouses in purple and everyone says the color looks great on me

i like that colour too but i love pink colour . still when i have purchased dress for me and my baby atleast one dress should be pink .

I have to laugh... I read the title of your post and was drawn to it because of the book The Colour Purple by Alice Walker which was later made into a film. I adored both the book and movie. Now onto the colour purple as a colour, I do like it, but I'm not crazy for any colour in particular. I like contrasting colours in my house and I'm generally drawn to bright colours that make me feel good.

It is a soothing color . It combines the depth of blue and the action of Red. It indicates imagination. sober and soothing nature of this color makes it appealing for soft natured people. These are my personal observation.

I am crazy about the blue. I love to wear it on me and my 2 babies. I also like to decorate my home with it.

well i like only one shade of purple which is lilac... i love to see that color.. well acually 2 then now as i think of it i like lilac and lavender... i love those shades of purple... but my sister is a purple freak.. she loves everything that is purple... but i only like 2 shades of it which is lilac and lavender..

when I was a teenager my favorite color was purple.. everything i owned was purple.. now everything is red.. I love the color red
