players for money or cricket

I feel that most of the players in a current Indian
team play for the money not for their countries pride..
what u all think

I think you haven't given me enough reasons to believe it. i think if they have personal interest first before their country but all the winnings and the good game they play, the country gain the pride because, one, people say indians are good cricket players but not call individual names. if they refuse to play for their country then one may have the nerve to tell them this.
well you need to give me the cause to believe this.

Dear friend i can give u a best example.During 2003
world cup final played between India and Australia
,India is chasing a mammoth total,In that situation
how can a batsman like Sachin caliber play such a irresponsible shot in early inning of the match.His shot clearly reflect that he is playing only for money not for the country pride.The main reason for pin pointing him that before the start of the match he has been awarded player of the tournament award.

Except for a few players in the team, most of the others are playing only for the money only and not for pride or for country, I hope that they rectify it and should start playing for the nation and keep the country proud. Money is important but it should only not be the criteria to play.
