one time when i was going home from school, the passenger beside me almost robbed me. i saw his hands opening my pocket and almost took my wallet. good thing i noticed it. i took hold of my pocket and my wallet and he got down from the vehicle immediately. i was so scared at that time. i was so thankful he didn't harm me in any way. have you experienced this already? have you been robbed? how many times?

When I was in college, I was robbed quite a lot of times. LOL!! The university where I studied was a 3 hours bus ride from the city where I came from. So, every weekend, I always go back home to my family. I always sleep in the bus during the 3 hrs trip. It happened to me like I reckon 3 times that I woke up and my wallet was gone, and I have no idea who took it or the robber's face. Luckily I don't put all my money in one wallet, I always have a spare wallet.
I reckon, the worst robbery that I experienced was when me & and friends were walking going to the mall next to our school. I was wearing a gold necklace that day. I noticed a man looking at me across the road and when, he was walking approaching towards me and when he was in front of me, he then grabbed my necklace. Good thing I was quick, I grabbed his hand as well, he was choking me, we were pulling against each other. I screamed for HELP! good thing my friends were there, we were in a public area and he let go when he saw the traffic police. Luckily I was wearing our school uniform that day, so he was able to have only grabbed my necktie, my necklace broke and I found it inside my blouse. I was so scared after, then realized that thank God he didn't have a knife with him, he could have stabbed me straight away.
I did learn some lessons after that. First, to not wear or show off or at least be careful if you're wearing jewelries in public. And second, to not wear necktie LOL!! they might choke you and kill you during the process LOL!!! That incident didn't stop me though from wearing jewelries and necktie *smiles*..take care.
cheers! :D

wow that was a close encounter. yeah..it's a good thing he didn't have any weapons. that is also another reason why i don't wear jewelries. they only attract robbers. today i only bring my wallet when i'm with someone. if i'm out alone then i just put my money in my pocket. wallets can be bulky and your pocket would seem full of stuff if you put your wallet in it. good thing you're alright...=)
