I don't find anything wrong if he or she will send you a postcard. If the intention is clean and just for the sake of pure friendship, then it will be fine. But if it is something to persuade you, then it is really up to you.

dear llifly we are living in a period of identity theft.Internet is being flooded with spammers,hackers and all kinds of thieves.Hacker first tries to get your identity proof then slowly takes you into confident and steal your valuable online information.So I don't give my address to a stranger.Social networking sites are the No.1 centre of hackers.So be careful

No I wouldnt accept it. I would never give my address out to anyone on the internet.

I would definitely not accept it, I don't give my home adress to people I don't know. I think you should just say you appreciate the tought, but rather keep yoru adress private.

No way! I would not give my address to a stranger. What if he is an experienced stalker, rapist, murderer or anything of the kind? I wont even give my picture.
