Yes, I have read Pandora a few years ago, read it a few times. It's a lovely book, I love the content of the book, and it's also about the lover of Marius which is my favorite character in all of Anne Rice's books. I love the way Anne Rice describes and writes. I love her characters. Yes, you should read the witching hour series as the stories intertwines when you read the book blackwood farm about the new vampire Quinn.

there's a new vampire?? I have lost track of anne rice's books since i've started working coz I never get to visit the bookstore too often. I ordered 2 of her vampire books online (ebay) but I didn't had the time to go to the bank and pay for it. until the deadline expired. ^__^;;

yeah, its written in the same way. it is one of the novels in anne rice's vampire books along with queen of the damned, interview with the vampire, lestat, and others. I'm not sure when it came out but I think its kindof a long time ago. I don't know if it came before or after the book "lestat". ^__^;;
what kind of book is "lolita"? what it is about?

I am a fan of Anne Rice as well. Loved the movie adaptation of Interview with A vampire. However was really disappointed with Queen of Damned movie. Didn't follow the book as closely and took liberties with portions of other books in original series.

yeah. and they should have "used" the same actor to play as lestat. constancy is a great thing for movie series. i would have loved seeing Tom Cruise play as Lestat again.

oh yes, I have read Pandora, that was back in college, I think (my friend is a big fan of anne rice, so I borrowed books from him). so far, I've read The Vampire Lestat, Interview with the Vampire, Queen of the Damned, Santino and Tale of the Body Thief. As for the movies, I definitely liked Interview, but was sorely disappointed w/ "Damned" (there's just too many things wrong w/ it.)

i wasn't able to read the book Queen of the Damned so that's probably why i enjoyed the movie version. ^__^;;

Really! I haven't read books about vampires and I don't want to. I prefer to read biography and anything about life or children's book. I've just finish reading Oprah and now I am reading A Little Princess (Princess Sara) by Frances Hodgson Burnett. I just find this very interesting and so my daughter, or maybe I just want to share it to my daughter and encourage her to read. Anyway, whatever books fantasy or real it makes one more knowledgeable and intelligent.

I also like her books. I first heard of her when a friend of mine lent me the mayfair witches one. then I followed up by buying (can't remember the name) it was where Lestat met with Rowen from the Mayfair witches. the book is really good!!!!

I think i've read that one too! I think anne rice tries to connect her books to make it more interesting. I think the connection between the mayfair witches and the vampire chronicles is the talamasca since they are the ones making chronicles of the witches and the vampires. her books are really good, but just really expensive. ^__^;;
