Yes there are many mobile service providers around the world and if you are taking about the best one around then in India I would go with Airtel its the best but if you are from chennai then i would recommend Aircel. Regarding rest of the world in Canada Rogers is the best on ein uk there are many such as orange , vodafone, o2 etc. I would suggest 02. Apart from that there are many groups , but I don't have much knowledge about it.

I think the AIRTEL and BSNL seems to dominate in India. But IDEA is an emerging service provider. I am not comfortable with the service providers in other contries. Iam eager to hear this info from this discussion

i'm from Andhra Pradesh here AIRTEL,IDEA,HUCH,BSNL,REL r the main service providers i used AIRTEL, that time coverage was low at our locality(now they have gud coverage though), so i decided to switch to IDEA, but now i realize i got my self into trouble. no proper response from Customer Care what so ever. just now i switched to HUTCH, need to evolute HUTCH before i come to any conclusion.

i think AIRTEL N HUTCH is the best considering network aspect.However they r too costly.On the other hand RELIANCE N BSNL r good frm d piont of view of network n costs.

To my opinion i think vodafone service is better than all other service providers.I am using it for the past 2 years and didn't got any problem relating services right now.
