Do Pilipinos really love their country, why are some using thie position or poer to enrich themselves and let other pilipinos suffer from poverty? Every monday we sing our national anthem and recite our pledge why cant we examine what we recite and sang. Can you give any ideas?

I believe that generally the Filipinos love their country. I am a Filipino and I love the Philippines. We just don't have good leadership that's why we are not united to achieve good goals for the Philippines. I hope that in the near future we could find somebody who could lead our country well for our own sake.

Yes, we love our own, but sometimes due to the greed that some filipinos done , specially those who are in power some are disgusted how the Phillipines runs by them, that's why some went abroad to stay there for long or stay them permanently.

the history of the Philippines has its own share of sufferings and difficulties, as a people, we remained under four centuries of spanish rule, only to lose our sovereignty to the americans, we suffered the cruelty of the Japanese invaders, and struggled to build ourselves as a free nation. For eighteen years we were under the rule of a dictator, and now we are still plagued with poverty, violence and underdevelopment corruption has already taken its roots in our system, and once it has rooted itself, it would be difficult to uproot it, but it can, but it really would entail the sacrifices of all, the peso is now getting stronger and I think there are certain individuals who are trying to make our nation great again power definitely corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely, the distribution of wealth is not yet well distributed, but in time our nation would stand up for itself and we would no longer be ashamed of it there were important moments in our history when as a people we found strength and courage to go on despite the odds. because of the lives and examples of great filipinos, in one way or another we experienced healing and encouragement, these moments of solidarity are important in our nation-building, they form part of our filipino tradition and culture, which we must learn to treasure and sustain I know you are disappointed right now, and it seems that everyday it is getting worse but be rest assured that there are still good individuals, good entities, good citizens who dream that one day their children can say with utmost pride that I am a filipino as an individual there are things that you can do to help improve your country, here are 12 simple things you can do to improve our country 1. follow traffic rules. follow the law. 2. ask for official receipts when you buy something 3. dont buy smuggled goods 4. when you talk to foreigners speak positively about our country 5. respect your traffic officer 6. do not litter 7. support your church 8. vote wisely 9. pay your employees well 10. pay your taxes 11. adopt a scholar or a poor child 12. be a good parent as one american president once said, do not think of what your country can do to you, but think rather of what you can do to your country, yes we can criticize but instead of just criticizing let us put ourselves in their shoes and do something positive rather the cancer of corruption has taken its roots but with our help we can cure this cancer.

Do Filipino's love their country? well i guess i'm not fit to answer that question cos i'm not a Filipino but i'm Malaysian. Well one thing what i can say from what i know about your country, there are lots of rooms to improve first of all the politics needs to be stable. As far i knew u have a good government, a government while do lots of things to help your own people but i just dont understand why there are still Filipino's arguing about your government. The people..is the right answer.. yes.. the filipino's need to change the way they think about your country. Love your country and love your culture that comes first. As Philippines main religion is Catholic but many fails to be as good Catholics. But there are some good ones there.. and i really salute them. Start doing good things from your place first before you bang the government.. think what you have done for your country before you ask your government what they did for you..
