i used to admire manny before because he really is so good in boxing.. he won a lot of times from mexicans and he really did great..
what i can't believe was when he run for congress to compete with Ms. Darlene.. starting that, i don't admire him anymore because he kept on bragging a lot before, so that's another reason why i don't like him anymore...
i was just dismayed coz i can't believe he did enter politics.. now, almost all people i knew are just laughing at him when we saw him at television... i dunno, maybe its because of what happened last election... he just ruined his name.... tsktsktsk

its a big mistake for manny to enter the politics, he learned a lot of his wrong decisions, now that he lost his career in politics, i think he will never be again to think that he will run again the politics. you must know your expertise manny, boxing is your career not politics..

Eveyone in our country has the right to serve the country wether rich or poor, wether showbiz personalities or employees...so i don't think there is wrong in his candidacy last election..But know what!i also hated him,you know why?it's because of the news that he and Ara mina has secret intimate relationship?i thought he is a good husband to his wife as he always sadi on television..but now as showbiz personality also?he rocks with sexy ara!i hate it!

I hope he had learned a lesson from that. Popularity cannot be manipulated to get something that you don't deserved and I'm glad that the people of General Santos knew that. Manny is at the peak of his career and he just wanted to exploit this. Right now I think he got a movie to be shown with Ara Mina. But whatever he does outside the ring, he is still my idol when it comes to boxing.

Well that is alesson he learned in life now. He thought that he could get it all with the fame that he garnered in his boxing career. too bad he did listened to many politicians around him trying to get some money out of his winnings. I guess he learned a very costly lesson on politics. I just admired the Gen San people to follow what is in their conscience and not because of popularity, money and fame.

Yup. You are definitely right. He embarrassed his name too. He ran for a political career to help the people. But how can he help when he is in the boxing ring and training for his next bout. It's definitely financial help that he is referring to. He should just give money to charities rather than start a political career together with his boxing career.
He can't decide well with what to do with his money because he has millions of it. Tsk tsk.. But atleast he wants to help the people. :)
I hope he will win when they fight again with Barrera. :)

i also do admire manny with his boxing skills, and nothing more than that. for the benefit of the doubt, perhaps we should also consider the kind of environment manny has at the present. he is still young in the political masses and he also have various kinds of politicians swarming around him. we don't know the real intention of manny in running for a portion in the politics but he could also be influenced by opportunist politicians. to this, i hope manny would sought more sound advices and continue to venture in the field where he is tested and best.
just my opinion.
