Yeah I usally turn off the light before I go to sleep I just cant sleep with the light on and plus I have the tv on to keep me comfort so I dont really need to sleep with a light anymore. But before when I got my tv I use to sleep with my light on all the time because I hated sleeping in the dark but that was before I got my tv since the tv provides enough light in my room.

Interesting question, I can't sleep if it's pitch black. I need to keep a small night light on all night.

It's weird for me, because if I am sleeping at night, I need it to really be dark. Even if the power surge is still on and I can see the light, it's distracting. But I can fall asleep during the daytime even though it's bright and full of light most times. I think it has more to do with the actual mentality of it that anything else, but it really needs to be be dark for me to fall asleep for long periods of time.

I prefer to turn off the lights when sleeping. Im much more scared when there are dim lights or lights on because i see alot of shadows from the outside by my window. I have this tendency to think of scary things or imagine things hehe

I turn off the lights when I go to bed. I sleep much better this way, but I also think about the electrity that would be wasted.

When I go to bed, I need it pitch black. I also read somewhere that keeping the light on doesn't allow you to get the full amount of rest. I'm not sure how that works, it's the chemicals in your brain responding to the light I guess. But I simply prefer the light off and the curtains closed.
