Are any of you sending your kids to school for the first time this year? How do you feel about it? My daughter is 3 1/2 and will be going to preschool this year, I am very happy she is going, she needs more interaction with kids her age. But I am also very sad, I can't believe she is already big enough to be going to school.

My daughters are in school for some years now but surely it is very exciting when they go to school for the first time. At the same time one is anxious about the child. How is she at school? Hope she is not crying? Hope she is eating her food? Several questions arise in parents mind but these are but natural things.

My 4th child is starting his preschool/pre-K program this year. I'm kind of "the veteran mom" there since it's my 7th year sending a child there. I can't believe he is big enough already either. He was actually just eligible (by age)last year but we didn't send him because he wasn't quite ready. This year he is and he is so excited to go...less than two weeks to go!

I am thinking about sending my 2 year old to a preschool for the first time this year or next year and my son will start kindergarten this year. I am stressed out alittle about this right now but I will be fine.

Our oldest daughter starts preschool this year. i'm nervous for her because while she is really smart, sometimes i think she acts dumb. i'll try to get her to count to 10 and she'll mess it up, but i'll hear her count while she is playing and she can go to almost 20 without making a mistake lol. At first i was sad about her going to school, she grew up so fast. right now i'm cool, but i have a feeling i'll be a wreck when i have to take her. she starts in 2 weeks. i'm nervous for her, i hope she makes friends and has fun and enjoys learning.
