In the past,my mother treat me so well that whenever I lack of money, she will send to me in anytime.
But recently, since I graduated from my university and begin to earn money by myself. She even asked me to send 2/3 of the salary to her.
If I say no, I can't forget what she did to me in the past. If I say yes, then I have to save money when I got my first pay.
What will you do?

As I am working & leaving far away from my parents, I used to send a part of my salary to them. So I think you should send an affordable amount to her and simultaneously you have to save money too..

my mom has never asked me for money, although i'm already working. but since i'm working and i know that my mom has spent a lot on me and for me, therefore i feel it is part of my responsibility to give my mom some money. it depends though, sometimes i do give her some money, especially if i have some extra money, coz sometimes i'm broke as well.

Not only for my mother, but I have also given part of my salary to father as well. Although the rate of U.S currency has been down, I still keep the 40 percent fixed amount for them. You have first done the right thing to your parents as I do now.

For me its just ok. By that means you can give her back the sacrifices she had made for you. Besides she is your mother. Though in my case I dont give a part of my salary to my mother because I didnt grew up with her. It is my grandparents who took care of me while my father is working abroad to support my education. My father is not demanding a part of my salary. In fact he is happy if I can buy the things that I need out of it. But I have a responsibility of paying my telephone bills and a part of our electric bill but it is just fine with me.

But it's my first time to get the salary, I think I could stock my salary by myself. Then I'll give her all the money I stocked. She could afford the daily spent of her life. But she still asked for my salary.

when i start to earn money myself, i have never gave my mom (or my parents) part of my salary in cash. all i have done was sometimes i bought them their favorite food when i got back from mall. or i just treat them to a restaurant.if i go for a date with my boyfriend sometimes i call my mom to join with us for a dinner. if she's ok, she will come along with my dad then we are having dinner together on my account or our account (me and my boyfriend). I realize that i cannot give them anything yet exactly like what they did to me but at least with what i did to the, hopefully they will feel happy and proud of me. Thanks God that my boyfriend also sometimes reminds me to ask my parents as well to join.

I will not send a part of my salary to my mother but take care of her regular medical bills and other emergency bills. It gives me great satisfaction by doing this small service to her and after all I consider it as my duty rather than gratitude for what she has done to me in the past. Also my mother feels very happy and contented that I am there for her for anything and everything.
