I have only been working at my new job for only a month. And for the most part I thought my new boss was cool. But today she jumped all over me for talking on my cell phone when I was ON BREAK. HELLO I am on break. That is my time not yours. It really made me mad. What kind of boss do you have? Are they the nice friendly kind or rule with an iron fist or somewhere in the middle? Or do you work for yourself? lol

ohhhhhhhhhhh boyyyyyyyyyy do I wish I worked for myself! I am currently unemployed due to college. But for the last 3 years I was working for the same boss, and he was a pretty big a**hole!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he took advantage of my niceness! I never really took breaks because it was always too busy, I used to do other people jobs when they went on break (not because he asked, but because I chose too) and also, I used to work 6 days a week and when people didnt show up they still called me into work. it was pretty bad. and me n my boss and his wife and all the other employees wre friends, no one got special treatment I understand but iw as definately taken advantage by other employees as well as him. Therefore I label him as a S**** boss. Im sure others have had similar situations if not the same!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My boss is kind of like the one in office space, but not as annoying. its not like he speaks in that draud voice, but he seems to knit pick at people a lot and has his own routine of how he like things to run in his office and when a problem occurs he tries to come up with the simplist solution even if it dose not satisfy all parties.

That is weird that she jumped you for what you do on your break. I had a boss at Sears that was a big poop. He was such a jerk and the supervisor under him was no better. Couldn't stand those two. They rewarded the slackers and poor workers more than they did the workers who were doing their jobs right. So ridiculous.

my boss is a person who cannot make up his mind. everytime he make one decision,,in a minute he will change it and said that we(his employee) don't get his point. He always like that.at the end eveytime he said this or that we don't want to take it seriously.Only at the last minute or almost the deadline we take what he say at that time.and also he is very stingy. OMG...we cannot stand about that one..
but his positive side is that he pays enough attention to his employee. if i was absent, by the day i go back to the office he will say how are you and ask what happen. and also he likes to make a joke..

That is odd that she would jump on you for that. That happened at my last job but there was a rule that you couldn't use your cell phone in the building..even on break which I didn't know until I got written up for it.
I don't have too many negative things to say about my current employer. I work for my fiance...lol. He gets on my nerves from time to time...I think he just has to show me that he can be in charge (I run the household...lol:) but usually everything goes smoothly. When I have ideas of doing things differently, he always immediately comes up with some crap of why it won't work, and then a few days later he will bring up the idea and that's how things will be..it's kind of annoying but it's funny to me...that's just how he is...lol.
