Frankly speaking, I don't have so much money to buy a house now. But my parents require that. What should I do? I have plans about my future, for example going abroad or buy a house with my husband. But I should buy a house for my parents firstly. That's seemed impossible to me?What do you think?

This depends upon your financial position and the necessity of your parents. If they are very old, cannot stay alone then we cannot keep them separate is it not?

I believe that it's wrong for a parent to expect such a thing, they don't have & raise children so they are able to have a house bought for them.
I think if you're of a mature age & need a house you should buy one if you're able to but you don't wait until you're old & then expect your children to buy it for you.
You are independent of your parents & if you are married, then the only person who needs to buy your parents a house, are your parents - you just need to think about yourself & create a life for yourself, you need to plan for your own future.
I think different cultures expect different things but i still think no matter the culture, it's not right for parents to expect their own children to buy a house for them - they've had plenty of years to buy their own place, it just seems a little unfair to me.

I share the same opinion with you. My parents own a house before. However, after they two divorced, they decide to leave the house for my father which means my father will support me about my university fee.But after my graduation, my mother ask me for the money to buy a house. Frankly, during my universtiy life, she also gave me a lot of money.

Sure. I wish I could be rich and earn money to buy a house for my parents. They have done a lot for me. I don't know how to appreciate to them. So if I can afford it, be sure I will make them live better and happier. Actually every month I give more than half of my income to my parents.

So how to keep yourself alive? You have your own family to support, your own child to feed up. How give so much money to your parents?

Why not buy a house big enough for all to live in...but I don't understand why you must buy them a house! If you have siblings maybe you could all get together and buy them a small house. You are just starting your life so I would think buying a house would be difficult, so think of what you want and need.

I'm just the single one of my family. Because my mother lack parts of the money to buy a house. She asks me for some money to buy the house. Do you think you are willing to buy a big house for wedding with your parents?

Your parents require you to buy them a house? I would love to do something like that but in reality...I'm not rich! My fiance and I are buying our first house, and it will be paid off in about two years. We plan to buy another and sell it for profit like the first...then we will build our dream home. We joke with my mom saying we will build her a barn in the back...but I think we will be building her a house.
I would buy a house with my husband first. Your parents can't expect you to put them before your family...if they need to you caould let them live with you. I don't understand why they would want to put a financial strain on you like that.

I share the same feeling with you. I work hard with my fiance. But I'm not sure when we could afford our fist house. They really put a financial strain on me.But how to get it off? Buy a house for my parents will take so many years.

Why not if I have money!
My parents can require me to buy the house for them, but I will decide I want to buy the house for them or not.
In your situation, I think you have to talk to your parents if you don't have enough money to buy the house for them. It means you will buy the house for them when you have enough money, it becomes promise and you have to keep promise when you have enough money. Don't lie that you don't have enough money! That's all!

why would you be responsible for buying your parents a house? you have your own life as they do and its not your job to buy a place for your parents, now if they need a place to live maby you can buy a large enough house for all of you to live in comfortably.
