can you forever be loyal?

if you love someone, how long can you be loyal to her/him...or are really loyal or just for her/his eyes...

I can be loyal as long as till loving her.
Because we can be unloyal if we dislike him/her anymore because of something for example: there're a change in her/him, he/she hurt ourselves for example.
To maintain loyality we have to maintain our attitude each other, not hurting her/his heart, keep in communication.
I think that's for my opinion.
