What do you think about the sexist religions where women have to "cover up"?

Personally i think it's degrading and sexist to create a religion that makes women "cover up", especially when they are made to cover everything except their eyes! What i don't understand is; why would these women let men make them do it in the first place? I could never be in a relationship that's not equal. No man should be more superior than any women! I understand that in today's world these women choose to cover up with these "costumes" (i've forgotten the name of them, someone enlighten me please?) but they don't realise that it's not a free choice, they have been "brainwashed". It's just my opinion.....
