Well- my mom was very surprised with all the balloons we filled her house with..

my niece called her and told her she was stranded at the mall would my mother go pick her up- so while my mom was gone my sister and I have keys to get in so we carried the 21 garbage bags filled with balloons and threw them everywhere, I filled her tub with them and her closet. Then we hung signs and put her presents in the living room, my husband got the pizza and my sister got the cake, so when she walked in we were all just sitting there...LOL... she just stood there, kind of dumbfounded...LOL.. then she started laughing.
While we were there she found the balloons in the tub (i knew she would becasue we had to pull the shower curtain closed and in her house it is never closed unless you are in the shower)....she came downstairs and said "WHO FILLED MY TUB WITH BALLOONS" she was smiling this big smile.....and i blamed it on the dogs...LOL
There are still more balloons in her closet- which I don't think she has discovered yet...LOL....but she had a really good time!!!!!

Awww - how sweet of you! As I said in another discussion just now, I haven't had any email notifications of friends' discussions for over a week now, and my time is so limited, I just haven't had time to search for them - so l've only just come across this discussion. Sounds like your Mum had a great day though - and it's so nice to find a happy discussion here:-))

Mums are very precious! I wish mine was still around to "spoil". Treasure yours, and please wish her a belated Happy Birthday from me and my man, and of course, the feline family!!

Thank you ....I have been telling my mom about mylot and told her that I posted a discussion about what we did for her and how everyone has been wishing her a happy birthday-- and that included you- my kindered spirit across the water...LOL...she said "oh, have I got another child?" - (everyone who meets my mom calls her mom- and she says I don't know where all these children are coming from - I don't remember being in labor this many times....LOL) so I guess you are now a part of the family!!!

Yes we did - she was so happy - i think she thought we forgot about her....LOL--- (i called and told her that my husband and i would be there later on- but my sister didn't call her at all) She probably thought she was gonna have to cook for us when we got there too....lol...we got her!!!!

Oh that sounds like so much fun! How neat- what a great thing to do for your mom- She will remember this birthday forever- and it’s one to tell her friends- What a neat way to say Happy birthday and show her how much you love her! Way to go! I bet you guys had fun filling the balloons and putting them in her house too! What a mess- of a lot of balloons!

I bet the dogs had huge fun playing with all those ballonns! I am so glad your Mother greatly enjoyed her paryy with balloons, pizza & cake. Hope she has many more to come.
It was very good of you to organise this for her.
