what Rose had conducted in the film is a little bit out of our imagination. but guess it is the movie, which can easily attracted by this. but if i were Rose, i wouldn't drop it into the sea, instead, i'll keep it forever as a secret, which in order to remember Jack...^0^

Let me think about this...hmmm NO!!!! I remember seeing this movie in the theater and almost lost my mind when she threw that beautiful necklace in the ocean but thankfully I wasn't by myself yelling at the screen telling her how crazy she was. If anything I would have been like the other member who stated that she would have given the necklace away anonymously in order to receive a payment that would have left me sitting pretty. Or I would have sold the necklace to the divers who have risking their lives and wasting their time diving in the ocean looking for it. Come on don't be silly now that necklace would have made me a nice profit or brighten up my lovely outfits.

rose should have kept the necklace to help her restart her life, sure her husband to be would have possibly found her in time, but without modern conveniences such as the internet, she would have been tougher to find. she could have broken up the necklace....

No I would not throw the necklace in the water. If I knew I would never see my family again, or where I would end up. Knowing that the necklace was worth a fortune I would keep it. that way I would be able to start my life over again, even though I knew where the necklace came from and the fact that it caused pain and heartache. I would still keep it.

Oh hell no! I'd have one of those rich auction houses like Sotheby's auction it off anonymously so I could take all that money and run and no one would know it was me that sold it.
