what is the worst compliment that you ever get?

When I am reminded that I am not very tall, that pinches as a bad complement to me. People who say...had you been a tall guy, you would have become a model or soemthing like that.... really pinches me...because God has given me the hight, which I cannot change at this stage.

For me it's always "You're so lucky you had such an interesting childhood" because I lived in several places as a kid. People say this even after I explain the horrible abuse I suffered, and how I wished I had just one place I could stay and feel safe, and how nobody wanted to take care of me. And yet somehow people still tell me how lucky I am to have had an "interesting childhood!" I usually just walk away from these people, after trying to explain how that's not really a nice thing to say once and getting nowhere. That is, if I'm in an environment where it isn't okay to go off on them, which is what I would really prefer to do.

I was told by several guys back in my "clubbing" days, that I was to pretty to go out with. I am not even sure what they meant by that and it was very hurtful....
